    Hi Joe, thank you for your time.
    I am always worried about my clients that want to strain for about 3 seconds for those last few reps, (especially on bicep work) really pulling hard to try and get the weight up. When would you draw the line and make them drop a bit of weight? Or, would you instead tell them to stop when they are at 3/4 rep and straining, and have them go right into the next rep knowing the next rep will be 1/2 and the next 1/4? Is the answer different for Hypertrophy vs strength?

    I’m Speaking about clients who have been lifting for 2 to 4 years with me, get good rest and recovery, eat decently, and are training to be strong robust people.
