    Hi Joe,

After watching the videos on the education section, I’ve invested in some chains (50kg) to put the knowledge into practice. I can currently squat 100kg x 5 reps. In the videos you recommend 50-75% of the weight on the bar in chains. Does this mean that, If I want to make a 50% difference, I should now squat 100kg + 50 kg of chains? It seems a bit too much.

Or do I need to remove some weight on the bar in order to make room for the new chain weight? This doesn’t make sense, since I would be removing load to the lengthened position, which you said is where most of the hypertrophy occurs.

    Hopefully you can clarify this.

    Thanks.

    Best,

    Agustin.

Awesome answer, makes sense. I can’t wait to get to the gym to try it out.

    Thanks Joe, you rock!
