Is it safe for a teenager to be in a calorie deficit? I bulked up and now I wanna cut down. I’m a 15 year old male and unsure of what to do. I eat relatively healthy and am sitting at maintenance unsure of what to do.
Adding onto that, I’m 5’9 and around 20ish bf % after getting it tested. I want to be in a gaining phase as much as possible at the moment since I’m prone to growth. Thanks for the advice.
So should I be eating at maintenance and doing cardio? Right now I’m just resistance training while at maintenance. My effort is high and I’m training with intensity.
Thanks for the response. How much of a calorie deficit would be safe do you think? I don’t plan on going past 500.
