Hey Joe. This quarentine no-gym period has forced me to really think about biomechanics and moment arms. What do you think about the idea of lying (on a bench) pulldowns with the cable set slightly behind(/below) you? Would this simulate the perfect profile as the moment arm of the cable would be greatest when your elbow is at your ear (where lats have strongest ability to contract) and the moment arm drops off significantly (but not completely like a db pullover) as your elbow gets close to the hip?

I realise my description is quite confusing so i’ve attached a (poorly drawn) diagram to help try and visualise it. Also the pulldown would have to be done single arm or the cable attachment would be blocked by the users head or the bench.
