ParticipantSo my hamstrings are unbelievably tight and always have been. It makes my ROM in hip hinge movements like an RDL like 2 inches (this is an over exaggeration). I know you are a big fan of stretching, so is there a better way to gain more ROM in my hamstrings? Btw I am the guy who touches there knees and that is a hamstring stretch lol. It is bad. Anyways, thanks as always!

ParticipantWanted to do a short term follow up and will do another long term follow up (60 days). Focused on doing the broga luckily before you even answered and really focused on activations for my hips and hamstrings like you said. My ROM for RDL’s today went from about a half inch above the patella to the bottom of the patella which I am very happy with. I am also focusing on spending time and pausing at the bottom half of the RDL and hyper focusing on actively trying to contract my hamstrings. Will return in 60 days to let everyone know how much active range of motion I’ve gained. Thanks!! This has been something that I’ve been banging my head against the wall about for forever!

Awesome! Keen to see the progress! Keep up that straight-leg hip flexion especially. Frequency on off days as well. If it’s supposed to progress, it will!
