Hey, Joe!
For years, I’ve relentlessly tried progressing my legs, post operation. I have 4 screws in my left knee from a sports related break that required surgery. I’m going to keep this as laconic as possible, as I’m long winded. (I realize you give no shits about the story)
The left knee is now unable to achieve as great of TKE as the right. Due to this imbalance, the issue works upstream to the hip, resulting in regular SI joint issues. I’ve done everything I can think of from releasing the soft tissues surrounding the joints to flossing the joint regularly. It’s Pretty damn frustrating to not be able to contract one quad as hard as the other.
I am not the strongest guy in the world, however, I do handle decent loads in squat, press, Bulgarian, etc… How would you approach this with a client given the same issues? I’m just tired of the right quad continuing to grow while the left looks like a prepubescent teen. Also, fighting through the pain isn’t as fun now that sports are a thing of the past.
Thank you in advance,
Jeremiah.
