Hi guys, I’m new to bodybuilding after 6 years of powerlifting and athletic training. The thing I struggle the most with is getting a feel for how much I can train. I’m powerlifting it’s quite easy, if you have 3×3 on the plan and can’t do a third rep you obviously need more recovery since you can’t move 4 plates kg with pure willpower. In bodybuilding there is much more willpower involved in my opinion. In a 4×15 machine press I can’t tell if my recovery isnt on point or if a had a poor day from a willpower or pain tolerance perspective. How do I find the highest tolerated frequency and volume in this sport? (to be continued)
