Hi joe,hope you are doing good. Just wanted to know how top sets and back off sets work. How to build to a top set,what weight to pick and how to choose a weight for a backoff set. Thank you.
Hey, top set can be for example, do 1-2 sets of just getting the feeling of the exercise. Then you pick a weight you can do 8-12 reps for which is your top set. Then your back Off set can be a dropset, cluster set, 4×4 set. The thing is to track ur topset, if you got 9 reps, next time try 10 with the same weight.
