Ive been tracking calories/macros on and off for 6 years. I find myself failing to be consistent due to binge eating and over restricting myself. After diet breaks, I’d start tracking again moderately (1800kcals or so) and I’d do great for a week and then after that it’s almost like the thought of tracking makes me want to eat more even if I’m not hungry.
So then I stop tracking again. After a while I plan to start and try it again and instantly m, even before I actually begin tracking) I get this mental block/anxiety and can’t stop thinking about food. I’d like to lean out, about 10lbs is ideal. I guess my question is can you be successful in a cut when you aren’t meticulously tracking?
I have no issues making sure I get in 1g/lb of body weight in protein daily but it’s all the other stuff that fucks with my head like the calorie limit.
