    Hi Joe!

Love your content, especially the MILF maker.

How would you train a client if she had gone through a C-Section?

    Thanks!

    Chris

There’s really no specific way I can answer this, I always go back to the RTS concepts of “what do they have, own and tolerate”. As you may know, my wife has had a c-section. On paper there’s really nothing she “can’t” do. As soon as she started training again, we just started everything at zero, progressed VERY slowly, and trained the same movements very frequently (like total body workouts). Her feedback (like your clients) will be king. For pretty much everything loading her spine, her “core” was the limiting factor, so we only progressed as quickly is her torso could tolerate. Aside from that from that, realize the just cut straight through all the muscles in the front of her abdomen. So it will likely never feel exact the same. My wife took a long time to really feel pretty much everything the same in her body. She also benefits from extra TVA, breathing and pelvic floor work. Just doing stuff for those muscles frequently, working in quality and control.

And as always, work with her doctor, and within the parameters of what she’s medically cleared to do.
