I recently finished a long off season, using your app the whole way through. Two weeks into my prep, I ended up breaking my radius on my bike for cardio purposes. I was two weeks in a cast but was able to continue on my diet and training, working around the injury. I am out of the cast but cannot use the same loads as prior, so my question is this: would increasing the volume to hit failure on the plan (currently utilizing the 2021 O program) effectively yield the same results ? Know you are a fan of least reps/maximum effort possible but trying to continue along as best as possible here
Perfect. Thank you. Yes, I meant using lighter loads for more volume to effectively hit that failure target. Goal of course is to hold on to muscle at this point while shaving bf%, so wanted to see if my logic was sound. Thanks again.
