Hey guys,
I am at a moment in time where I can only lift Mon,Tues, and Fri (push, pull, lower). Without being able to increase frequency for the next few months, would it be more optimal to increase volume (more sets) per exercise in my sessions, or just keep things more intense with one or two sets per exercise? Also, from a hypertrophy standpoint, I will soon be applying to med school and feel as if my schedule will be hectic/cortisol through the roof for the next half decade. I have decent genetics but tend to be a high-strung individual, is it possible to still put on a few pounds of tissue per year with a lot of life stress?
