This is more of a hypothetical / knowledge and information question than a real world question. I spent my weekend in an awesome gym in Vienna. It’s one of the coolest gyms in Europe since they have about every machine or bar you can think of. With no access to this cool stuff in my hometown I randomly tried every push machine on Saturday, did one set to failure, maybe a second one if I really liked it and moved on to the next one till I got exhausted and called it a day. The same thing on Sunday but with pull machines.
I really enjoyed this style of training, no reps in mind, no worries about how much plates are on the stack. Is there any way to get a good physique with this unplanned typ of training? I reached failure, my glycogen was empty. Isnt that all we could ask for?
