Hey coach i had a question about supersets/ mechanical dropsets
My first tricep exercise is a long rope pushdown and when i reach failure i turn around and do bent over extensions. Or when i do the jm press i superset it with a close grip press.
So my question is would you recommend doing that or just stick to straight sets. Maybe do 2 exercises with straight sets and the other day do the other 2 exercises?
The reason i do it is because i enjoy that and i dont really feel like doing 4 straight exercises for my triceps.
The load of the second exercise is not really something i care about, i just want to fatigue my muscle even more during the set.
I guess my question is like would it be okay to call it “meat and potatoes” kind of exercise to do those 2 together. Also progressing the load overtime and also getting that metabolic effect
