I was wondering if it would be better for someone to do for example dips,jm smith press or skullcrushers for triceps, if he needs to build “a base” in terms of mass and execution?
Would those exercises be good substitutions for one arm rope pushdown/lying triceps extension which are in the current PPL program?
Why am I asking this? I’m trying to find the exercises that suit me the best, one arm cable pushdown just doesn’t quite go with me ( I probably just can’t setup correctly-honestly).
I saw some great progress with skullcrushers before while doing strict form, so that sounds like a good substitution to me. Also, I find jm press allowing me to strictly press from the triceps, so what are your thoughts on this? How would you approach this situation?
