When I’m doing hack squats, I seem to have a problem with my foot placement. When I start a set (regardless of the weight) my feet are placed nice and evenly on the platform. But when I finish the set, my left foot is significantly higher up on the platform compared to the right, like 1,5-2 inches. I had someone film a set and it clearly showed that my hip shifts to my left as I descend, causing my left foot to travel upwards.
However, the sets always feel great and it doesn’t seem to bother me at all, other than that it looks really stupid! Related might be that the right side of my hip flexors tend to cramp up on certain exercises where my hip is constantly flexed, such as seated calf raise.
So here to my question. Should I try to address this and how would I do that? Or can I just let it be and keep smashing on?
