Novice question: Curious as to why we don’t use unilateral movements like split squats as meat and potatoes exercises.
This isn’t something I’ve seen discussed a lot. John Welbourn had step ups and split squats in the power athlete programs like this. Maybe because that is more appropriate for athletic development than hypertrophy?
