So I’m on vacation right now down in North Carolina, and I’ve got a Back, Side Delt day coming up tomorrow. Ordinarily, my Meat & Potatoes moves would be – Barbell Row, a Single Arm Pulldown, a Hammer Row, and a Chest-Supported Row + Lying Cuff Laterals. I went to their gym today for my Arm day, and I saw that their set up. They don’t have a lot of machines (besides a pulldown), so I’d figure I’d keep it a little old school, and throw in some DB rows to substitute those Hammer Rows.
Tips on how to initiate that movement?
If not, I was thinking of doing a Meadow’s Row (saw Hunter Labrada’s set up during a stint during COVID, and I think I could bias that upper-back musculature. Let me know what you think!
Btw, I’m 6’2, 215, and I’ve kind of got monkey arms like Joe. I’ve never really seen Joe do a DB row in his content, so I was just wondering how he would initiate that move if he didn’t have many other options (although, he would…he’s a genius).
