How does everyone approach their sets in a program. For instance, it calls for 2 working sets. How many “warm up” sets is ideal? Is it to feel out the form for the lift or should we progress in weight until we reach a weight that would be our working set? Thanks
I warm up by progressing in weight. So if I’m doing squats I’ll do a few with just the bar, then add 45s and keep adding 25s until I am at my working set. Sometimes I’ll work my way up to my 90% max and do one rep before I start the working sets. This is only for the beginning of my workout I don’t do this for every exercise.
