My gym has an adjustable watson hack squat where you can adjust the angle of the incline of the machine. Are there any cues to step up the right angle of the incline? I tried a few variations but didn’t found the right angle yet
My gym has one of these also. I usually just stick it on what looks like a 45 degree angle, as i know many hacks are usually at 45 degrees. Its a bit of a pain trying to keep it consistent
Hi Josh, I use the same Watson hack at the gym I train. I typically use an app called ‘Angle Meter’ to adjust Hack Squat to 45° and then put footplate on hole 3 (roughly 45°) to mimic a Cybex 45° Hack. Make sure to wrap/sleeve knees on Working Set. Also helps to reverse band (1 Purple) taking a bit of tension off Knees in the hole. Hope this helps

Hi. Thanks for the advice. I always use knee sleves and reverse band anyway so this was helpful!

Thanks boys, next time I try it with a reserve band to take tension of the knees I feel my knees at the bottom of the exercise
