ParticipantHi Joe! I greatly appreciate your answers from my plethora of question the other day. I just have one follow up question regarding the rate of weight gain in contrast to my caloric surplus.
I have started my bulk with a modest 230 calorie surplus (10% above maintenance), and I gained 2 lbs in the first week. However, my weight has since staggered for several days, and I have proceeded to lose weight. I am actually slightly lighter (by 0.2lbs) than my first day of bulking (which was 11 days ago).
My question is, should I increase my caloric surplus dependent upon my logbook, and how well I progress disregarding the rate at which I am gaining weight, or should I keep increasing my calories to a point where I am continually putting on a modest amount of weight weekly?
Just for reference, my performance has been very good since the surplus, despite the stall in my weight.
Thanks again Joe.

I appreciate the conceptual based answer from you Joe, for me to learn from this through experimentation. Thank you very much ???? -
