So recently I’ve noticed that my weight keeps going down. This morning I stepped on the scale and I was just under 87kg, which is the least I’ve weighed in over 7 years. My goal is to put on muscle and lately I’ve been really consistent with my diet and training. However, I’m not sure if I’m losing muscle or just fat because as I said, at the moment I weigh 87kg but I don’t personally think that I’m getting bigger. Everyone in my family is telling me that I’m losing weight which is annoying because I’m trying to get bigger. Also, I’m currently at Maintenance calories (2900) but I’m not sure if I should increase that or not?
I was thinking to maybe bump up the calories a little bit, but considering that I’ve been training for a few years, I don’t really see the point of “bulking” and by that I mean I don’t think that increasing my calories by 3 to 500 will help me. I feel like any weight gain will be mostly fat
