Hi, I started a cutting phase around November last year. I started at 23% body fat, want to reach around 15% before I do a lean bulk.
I started off around 1800 cals per day and lost fat rapid at the start, Then suddenly stopped losing weight, then cut down to 1600 cals a day , lost weight again then hit a wall, now I’m on 1400 cals a day, doing cardio, doing wieghts, but I’m really losing motivation now, as I’ve stopped losing weight again, I’m gaining weight, it looks like I’m not leaning out, and I’m losing my definition and strength, I’m getting extremely weak and lacking energy to do anything.
I’ve been doing this close to 10 months now and getting hardly any benifit from it, I really want to cut the rest of this body fat before I bulk though, what do you advise?

So would you say 5 days I eat at 1400 and then the other 2 I eat 2000 cals?

And I’d do that for the remainder of the cut?

Thanks for the reply mate, I’ve decided to jump back upto 2000 to 1800 cals per day and I feel so much better, yeah I get you now, I was starving my body at 1400 cals per day, so I’m just gunna ride out at 2000 cals per day for awhile and see where that goes, I can already see my self getting fuller from a few days and I’ve got so much more energy in and out that gym, I’ll keep you both updated:)
