Hello guys.
So, the title sounds stupid, but honestly couldn’t think of anything better for now.
Basically, now that I am in RIR 0 phase in my program, I’m taking every exercise to the point where my form brakes down or I can’t just move weight any more (as I should). Here is the thing – let’s say I’m able to do 8 reps and the last one is a real grinder – making stupid faces, wiggling, almost going to bad form, very slow rep, I know that will not be able to do any more reps if I was to try doing them in similar tempo as previous ones (without any brakes). But I’ve realised that if I stop for 3-5 seconds, take a breather, I might be able to squeeze one more rep and then maybe do it again. My questions is – should I take this approach (taking few second brakes after what would I think normally as a last rep) or is it some intensifier technique that is not neccessary if not pointed in the program?
Thanks
