When switching split ?

    Hey Coach, when should you change from a upper lower to PPL? I’ve been training for 10 years naturally, and train now for Couple month on a upper lower arms split. So 5 days a week. I also have a hamstring leg day and quad legday. My upper sessions are mostly the same. I progress pretty damn good with this split. But when do you know you switch to a PPL version ? My goal is overall size, would a PPL better for me ? Or can a upper lower version still be a good choice for a advanced lifter to put on as much size as possible ?

    Ok thanks Coach ! I think I can tolerate more volume per bodypart. I want to go 5 times a week, and put as much size on as possible in the next 12 weeks. I really want to see what I can do in 12 weeks. What Program would you suggest ? Should i give the new powerbuilding program a try ?

    Ok thanks Bryce! My over all training goal is just pure size. I’m very balanced but I need to get bigger, so the PPL would be a pretty good choice right ? I also never did any power programming, so maybe I should give it a try ? Or do you think it’s not optimal for pure hypertrophy ?
