I know your say do 2 sets a baseline (one top set 5-8 one back off 10-15) but when do you know when to add a 3rd set (15-20) I am not a big fan of intensity technique I prefer to just get strong on my straight sets but I was wondering what signs and indicators I should be looking for to know when and how to add a set in or even take one away

Hey, try to add it, and If you can recover from it, then you are okay. That’s just my opinion

I’m no coach but if I’m feeling it on a particular day I’ll definitely add a set or two. If I’m dragging ass I just complete the work out and try to go eat and get in the bed
