Hi Joe this has just been bugging me so I’ll ask your advice.
I know that when we keep the weights out wider on a dumbell chest and shoulder press we create a constant moment arm and stop joint stacking which takes the tension off.
My question is when would we not do this?
And just bring the weights in so the weights are stacked?
Has this any benefit to an athlete or anyone for learning movement patterns for example.
