“Wide grip with elbers flared (adduction) focuses work on mid back musculature more….shoulder width grip with elbers tracking underneath hands (extension) focuses work more on lats…”
Heard this a bunch.
I’m a little confused as to what muscles are in a more advantageous position to bring humorous to the side of the body weather it’s adduction (if elbers are flared) or extension (if elbers are shoulder width). Pecs or triceps maybe? I don’t see how mid back musculature is directly aiding in either. Seems to be largely lat biased as far as I can tell.
