For what it’s worth, view of the whole gym. My wife says enough is enough. Lol!

Thanks Eli and Joe. Paradise at home. Thanks for all your guidance. The last four pieces I added (Cybex seated leg curl, Prime seated row, Prime leg extension, and the Nautilus Nitro) were all a result of you and your teams recommendations. Expert advice via an app. Can’t get any better than that.

Eli-I wanted to thank you again for your recent advice on seated chest press options. I found a Nautilus Nitro vertical chest press in excellent condition. Received it last Friday. It now has a new home. The converging is excellent as well as strength profile. Especially like the small footprint. Thanks for all the guidance. Really paid off.

Eli – I found a Nitro vertical chest press at a good price. Before I pull the trigger, one last round of questions. Assume money not a variable – For overall chest development, would you go with the Nitro or the Prime or the Atlantis units? A lying flat press seems to bother my old shoulders more. So my thoughts were if I went w the Prime or Atlantis unit, I would go with their plate loaded incline version. I realize that might favor the upper fibers some but figured it might also be good for all around. Am I wrong to think that way. Appreciate any insights you can provide

Thanks Joe. I certainly understand. I had seen a few articles on it before but was not sure how reliable the sources are. Then I watched an episode Andrew Huberman did that was very interesting.

Very helpful Eli. You have provided a number of good options. I currently have two Prime units in my house. Excellent prices of equipment. I just wish they had an upright seated version plate loaded.
Matthias – thanks for jumping in and sharing your experiences

Excellent input Eli. I really appreciate it. And your comments on the profile make perfect sense. Is the Nautilus Nitro a weight stack versus plate loaded machine? Lastly, in order to have a second option to shop for, what would be your second choice after the Nitro? Thanks again and welcome to the team.

Bryce-thanks for the feedback. The Atlantis unit I was referring to is what they call “Vertical Chest Press”. The only reason I mentioned preferring a seated or vertical press, is that at this stage and age in my training, I seem to be able to set up and engage better in a vertical design versus flat. I have two plate loaded Prime units in my home gym now and love the ability to change the loading pattern. I wasn’t sure if the weight stack version which uses a torque/cambered wheel had a decent manipulation of the loading ranges. As always, your feedback is invaluable.
