ParticipantAhhh, got it. Sorry about that, I think I misinterpreted the question. Just from a personal standpoint I have ran 5 or 6 of different programs, in surplus and deficit, and all were great in either situation…except Ben Pollack’s, it’s a BEAST. Welcome to the app lots of good stuff in here. But like I said the coaches hopefully we’ll have a more centered answer than I did.

ParticipantBen, hope everything is going your way. One of the coaches will most likely chime in with a more nuanced answer, but just keep in mind diet controls fat loss. Any of the programs offered do an excellent job of building muscle (if done properly) which in turn “may” help with fat loss somewhat but primarily fat loss comes from the diet end of the spectrum.

ParticipantMy 2 cents, which with inflation is now worth nothing….Both Half Body and PPL (both regular & 2.0 & assuming you get the 3 days) have served me well when I have had to drop days off in my weekly schedule for stretches at a time.

ParticipantThe coaches will have a more thorough answer but maybe they got a little leaner but muscle still there and getting incrementally bigger. Guess diet would attribute as well with that statement. Out of curiosity were you getting stronger?
