Awesome! Thank you so much Joe for the thorough response! That clears everything up. Also, no issue on somethings not being perfectly clear. It’s a work in progress. I’m just glad you’ve created this resource to help us all out. Take care.
Also, to my first question if that is the case and I should be going for those 6-8 and 10-12 rep ranges for those particular sets, I’m guessing those sets are both to failure, as well as I should be dropping weight from set 1 to set 2 because of the increased rep range, right?
Thank you Bryce for the thorough response! My follow up question to that would be if you’re going to be a hybrid lifter (lifting for strength as well as a hypertrophy) how should your split be managed to reap optimal results? For example, I’m doing Ben Pollacks Power Building split. Should my big compound movements be more focused on movement (from “a” to “b”) and the accessories to focus more on hypertrophy and feeling the muscle move? Thank you again for your help!
