Have you been training any pushin movements this time you have the problem? If it does not go away on its own by resting completely for few weeks then I recommend doing some very light high rep band training for triceps and biceps with neutral grip. Got this tip from alphadestiny it seems to be effective. Doing them everyday for very high reps fast pace not going all the way to failure, just getting some blood flow in the area. I hope you find this useful and atleast try it, you have nothing to lose! Just dont train through pain if it gets worse. Best of luck to my man, praying for you.

why is it a problem? Most likely he has less active range of motion than other people but I dont think it would affect the gains much. Either just continue doing what you doing if its safe or reduce the range of motion a little bit so the scapula doesnt move as much, that just my 2 cents. When u think about it the scapula is supposed to move quite a lot, its just harder to isolate muscles if scapula moves a lot. I never think about scapula when doing those exercises you mentioned, the more you move around while doing tricep pushdowns for example, you are propably cheating little bit but the muscles are still being stimulated as long as the weight is being controlled.

I wouldnt lighten the load, or you could do few heavy sets and few sets where you feel the muscle more. Feeling isnt everything. I also have very hard time feeling mid traps/rhomboids. Only thing I feel nice burn on traps/rhomboids is reverse fly. You could experiment with that if you want.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have watched some of Elitefts videos. Then if these programs also are to become as strong as possible is there even any difference between these and powerlifting programs for example? I assume in powerlifting we are able to get higher 1 rep maxes because thats whats being trained more but are you basically saying the strength gains are the same but just in higher rep range?

Pick split that isnt specialization split so all the muscles get similiar programming, and choose the one you like the most! All the programs are great. Good luck!

I dont believe in genetics limits either, I think you can build muscle as long until you reach the point where you are quite old. I dont think anyone can even reach their best genetics potential.

That has always been my thought exactly, a front delt exercise. I dont even feel it in my triceps. I honestly think its one of the most overrated tricep exercises.

Thanks Joe, im going to keep looking for that slot you are talking about and finding the best position for me. I actually rarely feel my chest working much so something is definetely off. Just have to keep experimenting. Appreciate your answers guys!

Check if the seat is straight by lowering the Smith bar, thats the easiest way.
